Aadhar Card Implementation – Is this really a planned effort????
Aadhar, aadhar, aadhar… This name had been ringing bells into all ears for a few months. While it is being implemented in each and every sector – from Registering deaths to Writing public exams, we but could not avoid some questions arising about the implementation of this Aadhar Card. Is this properly planned and executed, or a “plan on the way” marathon??? Whatever the motive could be, but we could not help asking these questions when it is in everyone’s mind.
Why did this question rise???
- If the implementation is pre-planned, then it would not have been hard to implement by such authorities – particularly with the Central government in their hands. But the way it is being executed – Aadhar for this, Aadhar for that and Aadhar for Tirupathi Laddu - all shows some swagger in the implementation. Why roam around ears to touch the nose than straightly touching it???
- Second thing is Verification. Millions of Smart Card Applications are running in, over the promises of the Central Government – Use Aadhar to get a Smart Card within 15 days. Even my application is pending and had been showing for almost 20 days as “Document Verification” If a single verification could not be done in a jiffy, how are we supposed to consider Aadhar as the one and only sole identity of us??? Do we really have something to check the authenticity of Aadhar Card at S.S.L.C and H.Sc., Exams even??? If not, then what is the authenticity of Aadhar Card Even???
- Another important thing is linking, – Link your Aadhar with Ration Card, Link your Aadhar with Bank Account, Link your Aadhar with Mobile number, Link your Aadhar with Property – Link it here, link it there, link it there also… Are all people really jobless or tourists, roaming around and seeing all government offices and other places??? Under a very well planned structure, may I ask why there isn’t any App or Software that cross links all and link everything??? We had practically given all the details required in our Aadhar application, then how many days are we to suffer holiday from work for all these process???
Whatever it is, not going anywhere near the finishing line and keeping on roaming will never give a positive opinion or feedback about any project or government. Hope the central government understands and takes steps accordingly. Written by just another Middle class Tamil worried enough about the holidays and loss of pay I need to suffer for further and future linking process.
The court had ruled against Aadhar a couple of days before, just because of all these malpractices. Can they really be rectified??? Only the creator knows…
